Abstract
Success or failure in a company determined by many things, one of them is leadership that has huge in a the company. Research in this thesis titled “THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP, SUPERVISION, MOTIVATION, AND DISCIPLINE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF A PT. CIPTA MARGA ABADI SIDOARJO”. This research aims to know the variable influence of them is that leadership, supervision, motivation, and discipline against employee performance in PT. CIPTA MARGA ABADI SIDOARJO and analyze variable most dominant in improving employee performance in PT. CIPTA MARGA ABADI SIDOARJO. In this research data gathered through the questionnaire against 35 respondents taken from the whole number of employees of pt .Perennial cpitamarga in sidoarjo, then performed the analysis of the data obtained in the form of quantitative data. The data processed by SPSS 13.0 for windows at this research namely the results of the validity expressed valid because it all the variables free having value Corrected Item-Total Correlation > 0.30. Test results reliability expressed reliable because all the variables free having value of Alpha Cronbach’s > 0.60 . Normality teston a chart there are points spread around the diagonal line slanting to the right and their distribution are look followed the direction the diagonal line the, and should be worn because it fulfilled the assumption the normal distribution.Heteroscedasticity test at points scatterplot of pictures / charts look points that spreads at random, do not form a pattern certain clear, and spread good above and under the digits 0 ( zero ) on the y axis. Test multicollinearity test shows the VIF all the variables free is at range 0.1 < VIF < 10, which means there is no symptoms multicollinearity between variable free in the model regression. Test of multiple regression produce equation y = 1.616 – 0.175 X1 + 0.022 X2 + 0.445 X3 + 0.599 X4 It means variable value leadership - 0.175, supervision 0.022, motivation 0.445, and discipline 0.599.The f ( the simultaneous ) exhibiting all variable value signifikannya 0.000 namely < 0.05 so simultaneously significant on variables bound.The test t ( partial test ) can be summed up for the ( X1 ) leadership, motivation ( X3 ), and discipline ( X4 ) a partial significant on variables employee performance ( Y ), The variable dominant of all the variables free most dominant namely variable discipline ( x4 to the value of 0.599. The coefficients determination test( R2 ) as much as 0.832 or 83.2 % variation performance variables an employee ( Y ) can be explained by variable of leadership ( X1 ) , supervision ( X2 ) , motivation ( X3 ), and discipline ( X4 ) and the rest of 16.8 % explained by other variables that was not found in this study
