Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, organizational culture, motivation, and job satisfaction on the performance of employees of PT PJB Paiton Generation Unit. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population and sample in this study were employees of PT PJB Paiton Generation Unit with the number of 146 people in the sample. Data source is primary data with data technique using questionnaire. Data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis and data processed by using Social Statistics Package (SPSS).16.0.for.windows. The results of this study are: (1) Compensation Variables partially not in accordance with Performance; (2) Organizational Cultural Variables are partially significant to Performance; (3) Motivation variable partially to performance; (4) Job Satisfaction Variables partially not in accordance with Performance; (5) Compensation, Organizational Culture, Motivation, and Job Satisfaction Variabels are simultaneously Significant to Performance; (6) Cultural Variables Organization has the most dominant value compared with other variables in this study. The value of R2 is 0.197 or 19.7%. This shows the variables that can be determined by the variables of the Compensation, Organizational Culture, Motivation, and Job Satisfaction variables by 19.7%, while the remaining 80.3% is owned by other variables that are not taken into account in this.study.
