Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the factors that affect employee performance at PT. Mekanindo Selaras Surabaya. These factors are the style of leadership and motivation. Implementation of appropriate motivation will lead to employee performance at PT.Mekanindo Selaras Surabaya. Employee performance arises influenced by leadership style and motivation. Leadership style and motivation on employee performance show positive and significant relationship. In this study the data was collected through questionnaires to 38 respondents who were taken using sampling using the formula from Taro Yamane on the employees of PT. Mekanindo Selaras Surabaya. Then analyzed the data obtained in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The test equipment used is multiple linear regression analysis technique that is processed with SPSS V.14.0 for windows program. So as to produce the following equation: Y = 0.373 X1 + 0.634 X2 The results of the analysis concluded that the test value F is known that the variables of leadership style and motivation together significantly affect employee performance with the value of Fhitung 354.988 ≥ 2.41 (Fcount ≥ Ftabel). In this study the dominant variable affecting employee performance is a variable Motivation. And Value R2 of 0.953 indicates that the amount of contribution of leadership style and motivation in influencing employee performance equal to 95,3%. While the remaining 4.7% is influenced by other variables outside the model.
