Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of compatibility between the expectations of students in SMK Nurul believer Sumberbaru - Jember on student achievement in SMK Nurul believer Sumberbaru - Jember. To determine the effect of teaching and learning, teaching skills, motivation to learn and learning environment on student achievement in SMK Nurul believer Sumberbaru - Jember. Along with the problem and the research hypothesis, this study was conducted using a survey design that is research taking sample from one population and use the questionnaire as a basic information gathering. In this study used a sample of 80 students. The sampling technique in this study using proportional random sampling technique. The quantitative analysis in this study will be used to test the validity and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha. Classic assumption test includes heteroskedastisitas test, test multikolonearitas, autocorrelation and normality test. To test the hypothesis using multiple linear regression. All tests using SPSS v18.0. The result shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is unacceptable and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, its influence is greatest variable learning process (X1) = (2.367), the ability to teach (X2) = (4.352), Students' motivation ( X3) = (3.842), and the learning environment (X4) = (3.490) on student achievement (Y) at SMK Nurul believer Sumberbaru Jember. The result is R2 (0.866) shows that 86.6% of Learning Achievement variable (Y) can be explained that the teaching and learning process (X1), the ability to teach (X2), Students' motivation (X3), and the learning environment (X4) while the rest other 13.4% described other variables not included in this research model.
