Abstract

This research was conducted in Sejahtera Wahana Gemilang, Co. Ltd Surabaya to evaluate the accounting system of credit sales and payroll that exist in the company in associate with the Internal control of the company. In this research is needed of data that collected and corporate documents, observations and interviews. Data of documents are used as supporting data, while this research more done to the observations of the company and interviews with the staff of the company. The research results is revealed that Sejahtera Wahana Gemilang, Co. Ltd has had Accounting System Credit Sales and Payroll. The accounting system has helped management to obtain sales information, especially credit sales and distribution of salaries to its employees. It also can provide the information needed by the company. But Sejahtera Wahana Gemilang, Co. Ltd has some weaknesses in credit sales accounting system and payroll whom there is no evidence of a written request from customer, no part of the loan that examine the credit status. On the payroll accounting system clocking is manual and limited in human resources make dual duties on some functions or parts. Based on the problems encountered, then the research emphasis on the evaluation of the accounting system of the credit sales and payroll and then provide suggestions for the problems faced.
