Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and employees placement on work achievement with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Theexperiment was conducted at High Point Apartment Surabaya. This researchconducted by using descriptive quantitative approach, systematic scientific studies ofthe phenomena and relationships, as well as using the description to support dataSample in this research are all employees of High Point Apartment of the 36respondents (sample saturated). Furthermore, the data in this study comes from 35 respondents who returned the questionnaire and fill out the questionnaire in full. The collected data is analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS 23 software. After testing, it is known (1) Compensation has positive and significant effect on Employee Achievement. This is shown in the results of coefficients of 0.343 with a significance level of 0.001. (2) Compensation has positive and significant effect on Employee Satisfaction. This is shown in the results of coefficients of 0.424 with asignificance level of 0.009. (3) Employees placement has positive and significant effect on Employee Achievement. This is shown in the results of coefficients of 0.392 with a significance level of 0.000. (4) Employees placement has positive and significant effect on Employee Satisfaction. This is shown in the results of coefficients of 0.434 with a significance level of 0.007. (5) Job Satisfaction positive and significant effect on Employee Achievement. This is shown in the results of coefficients of 0.315 with a significance level of 0.002. (6) Compensation positively influences employee achievement through job satisfaction. This is shown in the sum of the direct effect of 0.343 and the indirect influence of 0.134 so the total magnitude of the effect is. 0.477. It can be concluded that Compensation has positive effect onEmployee Achievement through job satisfaction. (7) Employees placement has apositive effect on employee achievement through job satisfaction. This is shown inthe sum of 0,392 direct influence and the indirect influence of 0.137 so that the totalmagnitude of the effect is. 0.529. It can be conclude that the employee placementhas positive effect on Job Achievement through Job Satisfaction
