Abstract
This study discusses that the company and employees know about simple stimulithat can affect employee performance, namely the competence of individualcharacteristics, motivation and environment on employee performance in theRegulator Agent of PT. Utama Utama Barokah Surabaya. This research wasconducted using quantitative research that focuses on testing hypotheses withstatistical methods of analysis and generating conclusions that can be generatedin general. The population in this study is the company Official Agent of PT. IntiUtama Barokah Surabaya who took 66 people then taken samples using theSlovin collection and obtained a sample of 56 respondents using stratifiedrandom sampling stratified sampling techniques. The test tool used was amultipleregression analysis technique using the SPSS program for the Windowsversion. After testing the hypothesis, the regression coefficient valuesobtainedon individual characteristic variables (X1) of 0.162 motivational variables (X2) of0.195 and work environment variables (X3) of 0.449. The value of the coefficientof rotation (R) of 0.853 shows a very strong relationship associated with theexchange rate 1. The value of the coefficient of determination (R²) obtained is0.727 which means it can be calculated at 72.7%. The value of the F test showsthe results of F count 46.255> 2.78 F table with a significance level of 0.000<0.05 so that it can be accounted for as a whole variable X to variable Y. In the ttest individual variable test (X1) get the value of t count 2.363> 2.006 and thesignificance of 0.022 <0.05 gives a positive and significant effect, the motivationvariable (X2) produces a value of t arithmetic 1.034 <2.006 and the significanceof 0.306> 0.05 a non-significant positive effect and the work environment variable(X3) produces a t value of 2.734> 2.006 and the significance of 0.009 <0.05.
