Abstract

This research was intended to determine the effect of product quality, price on purchasing decision with a buying interest as an intervening in Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo. This research was conducted using quantitative research which is a research that focuses on hypotheses test with statistical analysis methods and produces conclusions that can be generalized. The population which was used in this research were all customers of Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo. The sample of respondents in this research used non probability sampling. While the sampling method of this study used an incidental sampling method with a sample of 66 respondents. The analysis technique used is path analysis to determine the quality of the analyzed variables. From the results of the t test showed that (1) the quality of the product affects buying interest in Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value tcount > ttable (5,764> 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,000 < 0,05). (2) the price affects and doesn’t significant to the buying interest in Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value of tcount < ttable (-0,922 < 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,360 > 0,05). (3) buying interest affects the purchasing decision on Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value tcount > ttable (4,255 > 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,000 < 0,05). (4) the quality of the price affects the purchasing decision on Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value tcount > ttable (4,585 > 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,000 < 0,05). (5) the price affects and doesn’t significant to the purchasing decision on Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value of tcount < ttable (-1,847 < 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,069 > 0,05). (6) the quality of the product affects and doesn’t significant to the purchasing decision through the buying interest in Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value of tcount < ttable (1,684 < 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,097 > 0,05). (7) the price of the decision affects and doesn’t significant to the purchasing decision the buying interest on Mie Ayam Hanaraya Tawangsari Sidoarjo with a value of tcount < ttable (-1,578 < 1,998) and a significant probability value (0,120 > 0,05).
