Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of directly and indirectly the price, product quality variables on purchasing decisions through buying interest in East Surabaya. Because of the tendency of consumers to buy bottled water at the moment one of them is influenced by these four variables in purchasing fragrant shoot tea products. This study took place in the East Surabaya Region by using primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents using a Non Probability Sampling sample technique. The analysis technique used is Path Analysis to determine the causality between the analyzed variables. Based on the results of research that has been done: hypothesis (1) price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, hypothesis (2) product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, hypothesis (3) price has a positive and not significant effect on purchasing decisions through buying interest , hypothesis (4) product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions through buying interest, hypothesis (5) buying interest has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions of fragrant shoots in East Surabaya.
