Abstract
PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya is a company engaged in the financial management of customers in the form of life insurance located in Surabaya with dozens of employees. PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya is a life insurance company that has to compete with its competitors in the same field in the surrounding Surabaya area, so it is imperative for employees of the company to have good work skills related to their field of work. Company achievement that has been achieved is directly proportional to the work performance of its employees who are the spearhead of success in achieving company targets. In this case the work performance of employees is balanced by the good work ability that leads the company to success. An employee's work abilities are honed through flight hours or experience gained during his work, in addition to training or other things that affect him. This study is entitled the effect of education level and age on work ability and the impact on the work performance of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya which has several problem formulations, namely 1) Does the level of education directly affect the work ability of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya? 2) Does age directly influence the work ability of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya? 3) Does work ability directly affect the work performance of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya? 4) Does the level of education have an indirect impact on employee work performance through the influence of the work ability of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya? 5) Does age have an indirect impact on employee work performance through the influence of the work ability of employees of PT. Indolife Pensiontama Surabaya?
