Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the factors affecting the performance of employees Quality Control and Laboratorium Division at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk Unit Sidoarjo. These factors are discipline of work, leadership, work environment and motivation. Implementation of the right kind of motivation will lead to employee performance at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk Unit Sidoarjo. raised employee performance is influenced by the work discipline, leadership, work environment and motivation. labor discipline, leadership, work environment and motivation on employee performance showed positive and significant correlation. In this study, data were collected through questionnaires to 52 respondents drawn using the technique of the total sample (total sampling) or census. Then analysis of the data obtained in the form of quantitative data. Test equipment used is the technique of multiple linear regression analysis were processed with SPSS V.16.0 for windows. Resulting in regression equation as follows: Y = 4.177 + 0.188 X1 + 0.168 X2 + 0.089 X3 + 0.351 X4 The results of the analysis concluded that the regression coefficient discipline of work variables 0.188, leadership variables 0.168, work environment variables 0.089, motivational variables 0.351 and employee performance variables 4.177. The results of the t test variable work discipline by 2.064 ≥ 2.012 (t count ≥ t table), leadership variables for 2.048 ≥ 2.012 (t count ≥ t table), work environment for 1.306 ≤ 2.012 (t count ≤ t table) and the motivation variable of 4.381 ≥ 2.012 (t count ≥ t table) means that four independent variables studied, partially no significant effect on employee performance. Then through the F test found that the variable work discipline, leadership, work environment and motivation together a significant effect on the performance of employees with calculated F value of 15.649 ≥ 2.57 (F count ≥ F tables). In this study the variables the dominant influence on employee performance is the motivation variable. And R2 value of 0.571 indicates that the contribution of labor discipline, leadership, work environment and motivation in influencing the performance of employees amounted to 57.1%, while the remaining 42.9% is influenced by other variables outside the model.
