Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of the work environment and the work environment on the work achievement through the work spirit at PT. Bank HSBC Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the variables directly between the work environment and work environment variables on work achievement variable, influence indirectly between work environment and work environment variables on the variable of work achievement through work spirit variable as intervening variable. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach, that is, research that focuses on testing hypotheses by statistical methods of analysis tools and produce conclusions. This research population is 150 people is an employee of PT Bank HSBC Surabaya samples a number of 60 people use formula Slovin. Method of data collection documentation and questionnaires. While the data analysis is done by t-test to determine the direct effect and path analysis to determine the indirect effect of using SPSS 21.0 for windows. Based on the results of the path analysis that influence work environment and work environment variables on work achievement variable that is, work environment variable have a direct effect of 0,674, and the work environment has a direct effect of 0,487. Work spirit as an intervening variable has an effect of 0,512 on the variable of work achievement . Then if work environment through work spirit to affect work achievement, it is known the effect of 1,087. Meanwhile, if the work environment through work spirit to affect work achievement, it is known the effect of 1,005. Based on this it can be seen that, the influence of work environment and work environment on work achievement will be greater if through work spirit. Based on the result of coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0,617 on dependent variable of work spirit, mean percentage of influence of work environment and work environment to work spirit of 61,7%. The determinant coefficient of 0,850 for the dependent variable of work achievement means the percentage of influence of leadership work environment, work environment and work spirit on work achievement of 85%. And based on the results of multiple regression results also show that leadership, work environment and work spirit to have a positive influence the work achievement.
