Abstract

The current trend, many government agencies and private companies began to getting certified Quality Management System ISO 9001, with the aim to improve the quality and image of the company. Since the 1980s, the company foreign companies, already requires that local companies are invited to cooperate in their business, in order to obtain such certification. This study aims to determine, Customer Focus Influence, Leadership mode, and Employee Engagement against Implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001, PT House Of Quality Indonesia Surabaya. Where this research is based on the theory of the eight quality principles are described in ISO 9000: 2005 (Quality management systems - Fundamentals and vocabulary). The population observed in this study are employees involved directly and indirectly with the implementation of ISO 9001 in PT House Of Quality Indonesia Surabaya. The number of samples taken are 43 respondents to give feedback and suggestions for making this thesis better. Results from the study showed that partially Employee Engagement significantly affect the implementation of QMS ISO 9001. The results of this study support previous studies that concluded Employee Engagement affect the implementation of ISO 9001 QMS and Customer Focus and Leadership type does not significantly affect the implementation of ISO 9001 QMS. While simultaneously, Human Resources, Leadership and Involvement People type significantly affect the implementation of ISO 9001 QMS
