Abstract

Public service is one manifestation of the state apparatus functions as a public servant and the servant of the state. Public services are intended for the welfare of the people (citizens) of the welfare state. Thus the public service is defined as the provision of services for the person or people who have an interest in the organization in accordance with the basic rules and procedures have been established. Measurement of people satisfaction intended as a reference to determine the level of performance of services provided as well as provide the opportunity for communities to assess the services that have been received. This research is descriptive quantitative research, data collection techniques in this study using a survey form in accordance with the regulations of the Minister of PAN and RB were distributed to 169 respondents. The determination of these respondents using accidental sampling technique respondents are Sidoarjo Society who came to office and has received a service representative. Based on the results of the calculation of the value of Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) it can be concluded that the public service performed in the Transportation Department Sidoarjo into the category of "Good" means the performance of the service unit has been good. This means that people are satisfied with the services provided. However, there are some aspects that still unsatisfactory for the people who use the service in the Investment and Licensing Body Sidoarjo so it remains to be improved in order to achieve optimal satisfaction of public service
