Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the effect of job training and work experience in meeting job satisfaction and its impact on the performance of PPK employees in Pasuruan - Probolinggo Toll Road. The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect of job training variables and work experience variables on employee performance variables, the effect indirectly between job training variables and work experience variables on employee performance variables through job satisfaction variables as intervening variables. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach, namely research that focuses on testing hypotheses with statistical method analysis tools and producing conclusions. The population of this study was 56 employees who were employees of PPK Toluruan - Probolinggo with a sample of 56 employees using saturated census or sample methods. Methods of collecting documentation and questionnaires, analysis methods, namely test instruments (validity and reliability tests), descriptive percentage analysis, classical assumption test, determination coefficient test (R2), t test and path analysis (path analysis) using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. Based on the results of path analysis it is known that the effect of job training variables and work experience variables on employee performance variables, namely, job training variables have a direct effect of 0.432, and work experience variables have a direct effect of 0.569. Job satisfaction as an intervening variable has an effect of 0.873 on employee performance variables. Then if job training through job satisfaction affects employee performance, the effect is 0.716. While work experience if through job satisfaction to influence employee performance, it is known that the effect is 0.587. Based on this, it can be seen that the influence of job training and work experience on employee performance will be greater without going through job satisfaction. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.032 on the dependent variable job satisfaction, meaning the percentage effect of job training and work experience on job satisfaction by 3.2%. The determinant coefficient is 0.088 for the dependent variable of employee performance, meaning the percentage of the effect of work training, work experience and job satisfaction on employee performance is 8.8%. and based on the results of multiple regression also shows the results that job training, work experience and job satisfaction have a positive influence on employee performance.
