Abstract

This research is intended to: 1. Know the application of the SystemAccounting Information (SIA) usingcomputerized cash sales Point of Sale (POS)cashier software at Department Store 99 Kabuh Jombang, 2.Knowing thesuitability of the Accounting Information System (SIA) cash sales at 99 KabuhJombangDepartment Store with PIECES analysis,3.Knowing the suitabilityAccounting Information System(SIA)cash sales at 99 Kaberba DepartmentStore Jombang with elements of internal control according to theliterature. Research this is done with a qualitative approach and this type of research isstudy the casewith the method of collecting data by observing, interviews, anddocumentation. The data analysistechnique used is Descriptive analysis andPIECES analysis is by describing Accounting Information System(SIA) usingcomputerized cash sales Point of Sale (POS) cashier software at the 99 KabuhJombangDepartment Store related functions, documents, notes, reports andprocedures form a cash sales systemand analyze using analysis PIECES bymaking comparisons between PIECESanalysis theories with the realsituation in99 Department Store in Jombang District. Thenmake comparisons usingelements of internalcontrol according to the literature with the actual situationregarding Information Systems Accounting(SIA) cash sales at 99 DepartmentStore in Jombang. Results research shows that the application ofAccountingInformation Systems (AIS) computerized cash sales using the Point Of Sale(POS) applicationcan facilitate the company or Department Store 99 KabuhJombang in particular at the cashier's part inconducting cash sales transactions,and produce sales receipt, andhelp shop owners get information, i.e.in the formof cash sales transaction reports that are fast, accurate and up to date so that itcan make iteasier to make cash sales transactions. Results this research showsthat 99 Department Store of KabuhJombang apply Accounting InformationSystems cash sales in accordance with the theory PIECES andinternal controlaccording to the Mulyadi theory of 2017. Will but there are obstacles, namely thelack ofapplication of Point of Sale maximum thatisdone at 99 Department StoreJombang and its existenceApplication constraints that sometimes are still errorand then there is no division which can directlyimprove thesystem.
