Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital turnover and cash turnover on profitability. The research objects are eight retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) selected based on certain criteria. Secondary data in the form of financial statements from each company in the period 2014 to 2018, and the test equipment used was multiple linear regression analysis techniques with SPSS 17.0 software. After testing the proposed hypothesis, the regression coefficient of working capital turnover is 0.001 and the cash turnover variable is 0.001. And the F test value is Fcount> Ftable (8,794> 3.28), with a significance level of (0.001 <α 0.05), which means that simultaneously working capital turnover and cash turnover affect profitability. T test results of working capital rotation variable tcount> t table (3,598> 2,02619), significance value (0.001 <α 0.05), which means that working capital turnover has a significant positive effect on profitability, and cash count variable tcount> t table (-3.648> 2.02619), significance value (0.001 <α 0.05), which means that cash turnover has a significant negative effect on profitability
