Abstract
Thesis entitled "The Effect of Work Stress and Work Environment on Employee Performance and Its Impact on Employee Productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya" This is the result of quantitative research that aims to answer the question about whether work stress affects the performance of employees of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya, whether the environment work affects the performance of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya's employees, does work stress affect the productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya's employees, does the work environment affect the productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya's employees, and does the employee's performance affect the productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya's employees . This type of research is a type of causal research in which this study was conducted to find the relationship between one variable with other variables that have a causal relationship. The method used in this study is the distribution of questionnaires (questionnaires) with sampling techniques using sample samples because the number is too small as many as 35 respondents. The population in this study were employees of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya in 2018. The results obtained showed that work stress significantly affected the performance of employees of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya, the work environment did not significantly influence the performance of the employees of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya, work stress did not significant effect on employee productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya, work environment does not significantly influence employee productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya and employee performance does not significantly influence employee productivity of PT Kresna Karya Teknologi Surabaya. The coefficient of determination shows that changes that occur in employee performance by 79.8% are influenced by work stress and the work environment, while the remaining 20.2% is explained by other factors and changes that occur in employee productivity by 10.0% are influenced by work stress , Work environment and employee performance while the remaining 90% is explained by other factors. While the results of the first sobel test explained that the magnitude of the t value of -1,458 is smaller than t table with a significant level of 0.05 namely 1.69, it can be concluded that employee performance variables are not able to mediate between work stress variables to employee productivity . And the results of the second sobel test show that the calculated t value of -1,160 is smaller than t table with a significant level of 0.05 namely 1.69, it can be concluded that the employee performance variable is not able to mediate between the work environment variables to the employee's productivity suggests further research to add other variables related to employee performance. So that it can provide a broader picture of what factors affect employee performance in taking credit in addition to work stress and work environment
