Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of concordance between the Effect of Profitability Ratios on Economic Value Added (EVA) Automotive Companies that are GO Public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange at PT. Astra International Tbk Period 2012 - 2018. In line with the problems and hypotheses of the research, this research was carried out using a survey design that is a study that took a sample of one population and used the financial statements of a GO Public Automotive Company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange at PT. Astra International Tbk Period 2012 - 2018. In this study using a sample of return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM. Quantitative analysis in this study will be used validity and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha Classic assumption tests include heteroscedasticity and normality tests, for hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression, all tests use SPSS 18 computer programs. These results indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, the greatest effect is the variable Return on assets (ROA) (X1) = (5,252), return on equity (ROE) X2) = (5,564 ), and net profit margin (NPM) (X3) = (3,412) to economic value added (EVA) (Y). R2 of ¬¬¬ (.626) shows that 88.7% of student achievement variables can be explained, namely Return on assets (ROA) (X1), return on equity (ROE) (X2), and net profit margin (NPM) (X3) while the remaining 11.3% is explained by other variables not included in this research model.
