Abstract
This study was conducted the determine the effect of the Council’s Knowledge About the Budget Againts Financial Supervision of The Regional Budget with Organizational Commitment as a Moderating Variable in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD. In this study the process of collecting data using direct surveys and research instruments used were using a questionnaire. As for the research designed used is a survey. Furthemore, so that research objectives cen be achieved, the data are collected by questionnaire method. Data analysys was performed using simple regression analysis obtained using SPSS 16.0 software for windows. The population and sample in thos study are members of the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD with a budget of 50 Members. Based on the result of the test table 2.04841 with a significance level of 0.000 less than α 0.05 the bord’s knowledge of the budget and organizational commitment turned out to be significant with significance level of 0.001 less than α 0.05 then H1 and H2 are accepted and H0 rejected. This means that there in inflence of the council’s knowledge of the budget on the financial supervision of the regional budget.
