Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee satisfaction and its impact on the performance of employees in the Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. This study used questionnaires in the collection. Data obtained by conducting a survey of 33 respondents employees Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. Test equipment used is multiple linear regression analysis techniques and intervening variables were tested with path analysis. Data analysis using SPSS 16.0 software. Results of testing six hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6) showed that: a) Hypothesis 1 is accepted, the compensation effect on employee job satisfaction Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. b) The second hypothesis is accepted, motivational effect on employee job satisfaction Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. c) The third hypothesis is rejected, the compensation is not effect on employee performance Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. d) Hypothesis 4 is received, motivational influence on employee performance Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. e) Hypothesis 5 is received, job satisfaction influence on employee performance Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya. f) Hypothesis 6 is received, compensation and motivation effect on job satisfaction have an impact on employee performance Puskesmas Rangkah Surabaya.
